Weather station
The weather data displayed here is recorded in a garden above and to the north-east edge of Sampford Peverell, a village in Mid-Devon, England.
The site is somewhat sheltered from the north by tall trees, affecting rainfall and wind. The sensors will also be affected by houses close by to the west.
Data is recorded by a Davis Vantage Pro2 system (temperature/humidity/pressure) 1.5m above grass, with its anemometer head on a mast ~3.5m.
This website is hosted on a tiny Raspberry Pi4 computer. 'CumuluxMX' free software is used to process the incoming data at 2.5 second intervals and one minute averages calculated and stored in a database. These averages are passed to on-board web-server software and are displayed using METEOTEMPLATE template designs (see WEBPAGE).
